FINANCING AND HEALTH INSURANCE
We work with most major medical insurance coverage based on the details and limitations of an individual's policy coverage. Our friendly staff members provide our patients with a complimentary insurance Verification of Benefits check to determine which procedures are covered, and the deductibles and co-payments required, allowing our patients to make financially informed, reasonable and comfortable decisions for their health care with us.
No Insurance . . . No Problem! We also offer our patients the option of various patient financing plans that range from "zero down, zero interest" with affordable monthly payments for up to 2 years, to conventional financing of up to 5 years with monthly payments to fit your budget. (OAC) This option also makes our care extremely affordable and "one of the best health care decisions" that you can make! (as our patients often tell us)
We do not guarantee "The Lowest Price In Town" as that type of guarantee typically indicates inferior quality service and reflects a desperate attempt to "close a sale." We are not competing against anyone, nor do we try to "sell" unnecessary services to anyone. We are not desperate for "signing up" new patients, and will only work with people who genuinely need and want our care.
Our Guarantee: We Do Guarantee that our patients will receive MORE than what they pay for at our center. We Guarantee the delivery of excellent care because we are committed to acheiving the best outcomes for our patients. Most of our new patients are referred by current or past patients who have recovered with our care after other treatments had failed. Most choose our center for their treatment due to the highly successful clinical outcomes and results experienced by our past patients . (An important factor to consider when selecting any health care or service provider!)

Insurance Coverage . . . Varies Depending Upon Your Policy: Most Health Insurance carriers do not cover the DRX Procedure. Watch out for offices that claim that the DRX is "usually covered by most insurance" as that is simply NOT TRUE. If a doctor's office is falsely advertising this claim, you might need to ask yourself "What else are they misrepresenting?". At the South Coast Spine Center you will always get straight and truthful answers, with full disclosure and "no hidden surprises". Honesty and Integrity are part of our core values and beliefs.
The truth of the matter is that similar to the way health insurance companies do not cover refractive laser eye surgery or the LASIK procedure, (even though the procedures are highly successful and effective) the DRX procedure is also still considered to be an "elective procedure" by most insurance companies (even with the continued proven and published high success rates). As DRX Decompression providers continue to heal and restore lives, DRX Decompression will gain more of the recognition that it deserves, and we can only hope that insurance carriers will recognize its benefits to consumers, and begin to cover the procedure in full. Until then, although most of our physical medicine services are covered by a majority of health insurance plans and PPO's, not all services may be covered. AND specific coverage of services varies with each policy.
Once you are qualified for our care and you have decided that our treatment program is right for you or your loved one, flexible financial arrangements are made to fit your budget. Our goal is to provide you with the best treatment for your problem with the most comprehensive, evidence based, successful treatment program and procedures available. While some offices focus on "treating your insurance policy" (ie. providing services and procedures based on the highest insurance reimbursements, regardless of the value, need or efficacy of the service or procedure) or giving you the lowest price (along with the lowest quality of care), our focus is and has always been on "Treating YOU" with the most advanced, evidence based care, best suited for your complete recovery. Our primary goal is your Successful recovery!
Additionally, if you have been the victim of a car accident and have sustained treatable injuries, you may be entitled to full insurance coverage for your program of care. Therefore, we also accept Motor Vehicle Collision Injury cases on a case by case basis.
