Our Mission and Purpose: The South Coast Spine Center specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Chronic and Severe Low Back Pain and Neck Pain. Our goal is to Detect and Correct the underlying root cause of each patient's pain. Our mission is to "Relieve Pain and Restore Lives" With Advanced, Evidence Based Nonsurgical Treatment Methods. We accomplish this by first determining the correct diagnosis for each patient utilizing advanced diagnostic imaging, (MRI, CT, Digital X-Ray) and electrodiagnostic tools, (EMG/NCV) as indicated, with clinical correlation through skilled orthopedic and neurologic evaluation. Once the correct diagnosis has been made, a custom designed treatment program is recommended to ensure a safe, comfortable and speedy recovery. Comprehensive computer based exercise and rehabilitation programs are custom made for each patient as they enter the rehabilitation phase of care. Both high-tech equipment and time tested "hands on" therapies, are utilized as another critical component in the healing and rehabilitation process, helping to restore functional capacity and reduce the chance of recurring symptoms.

Our treatments are based on solid published research and over 25 years of successful clinical experience gained from treating a broad range of orthopedic cases in a number of multidisciplinary settings. Most physicians agree that spinal surgery should be the final option for most back and neck pain, and that nonsurgical options should be implemented first.
